No longer the boss

While I served as the Primary President in our ward my Secretary Sandi always called me Boss. Well.....I am no longer the boss! :) It was bitter sweet to know that I was no longer going to be the Primary President. It was such a blessing to serve the children in the Murray ward. It was hard at times but overall I really enjoyed it and I learned so much. I will never forget the women who served in the presidency with me they were amazing! They made my job soooooo easy! I learned so much from them and love them so much!
Janice Bakes, Me, Sandi Smith, and Janet Sifert
Janet is one of the most loving people I have ever met! She reminded me of my mom so I always called her mom. She was so nervous about the calling and I will never know why. She was perfect for the calling in every way!
Me and "My Kentucky Mom" Janet

Sandi was always, always smiling. She was baptised not long after we moved into the ward. She absorbed everything and was so eager to learn. She was so grateful that she found the gospel and always gave 110%. I will never forget her eager spirit!
Me and Sandi
Janice well....she brings tears to my eyes! We instantly became best friends when I moved to Kentucky. I am pretty sure we were friends in Heaven! I love her to pieces! She was always the one I called if I was having a bad day or a good day!
Me and "My Sister" Janice

These cute kids make me cry too!! They taught me so much! I know that most of them will forget me but I will always remember them.

Alli, Jonathan, Claire Leatherwood, Lauren, Ryan, Hanna, Claire Walker, Dallin, Jackson, Apri, Elli, Nafeesa, Rachel, Taleaha, and Hayden (There are several kids missing but it was a small primary)
I also had amazing teachers and music people who were always there to help! I was seriously soooo lucky! I had a goal to meet everyone on my primary roll. More than half the kids on my roll were inactive so it was very time consuming but it was worth every second. It led to many amazing missionary experiences that strengthened my testimony.  I am so glad I had this chance to serve!

I am loving primary! Such a great place to serve. I have forgotten how the kids just love you. Instant groupies. :) If only I could become more like them.
