This is what happens when you try to get your child to do something cute for the camera. They break down and cry!!! So my attempt to capture something adorable became something hilarious. Enjoy! :) (Sorry the vedio is so dark. If you can't hear pause the playlist at the very bottom of the blog.)

Camping Trip
Last week we spent a few days in nature and it was wonderful. We had a great time!!! We camped in the Unitas near Wayne's parents in Neola so they could join the fun. I think Apri enjoyed it more than anyone. She loved that I didn't care if she played in the dirt. She was fascinated with the tent when she saw it for the first time. Her favorite thing was the deer. We were lucky and choose a spot where the deer liked to hang out we saw them several times but it was never enough for Apri. As soon as the deer would run off she would begin begging for more. "More, More Deer" she would plea. We spent alot of time going on deer hunts to stop the begging. We went on a few walks, a very short hike, and some scenic drives. All in all we just relaxed and enjoyed one anothers company. It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. Here are some pictures from our trip. The last two are for your entertainment I hope you like our CHEESE faces!!! We look silly but I thought you might like a good laugh.
Twilight Fever
Have you read this yet?? I finally did and I really enjoyed it!!! It had been what seemed like an eternity since I had read a book. (other than a text book for college or CE's for work) So I was searching for a good book to rekindle my desire to read. When we were in Vegas Samantha and Erika were well into the third book Eclipse, and they were clearly obsessed. (If Samantha is reading this she is thinking "I am not obsessed" so for her benifit I will say I am exagerating Ha Ha.....Sorry I have to give you a hard time Samantha) I decided what the heck, if they like the books that much they must be okay. I too became a litte obsessed, while we were camping I couldn't put the book down. This weekend we are headed out of town again and I can't wait to dive into the next book of the series, New Moon. I will let you know if my intrigue continues. If you haven't read this book I highly recommend it, and if you would like to borrow my copy let me know.7/21/2008
What memories do you have with us?
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

4th of July
We had a great holiday. We celebrated by having a BBQ with family at our house. After stuffing ourselves with the delicious food we played games. Then we headed to the park to enjoy the fireworks. I wasn't sure how Apri would react to the fireworks. Apri isn't a fan of loud noises so I was a little worried. I worried for no reason because she loved them! She kept on saying pretty and wow throughout the entire show. Hope you all enjoyed your celebrations. We are so grateful to live in this wonderful country. We are so grateful to all those who have died for our freedoms, a special thank you to those fighting today!!!

Las Vegas
This past weekend we went to Las Vegas to spend some time with my sister Samantha and her family. While we were there we went to this fun water park where you can run around and cool off for free. The freezing water felt great because it was 110 degrees outside. Apri had fun with her cousins.

Apri layed her towel out by her cousins, she wanted to be just like the big kids!
I thought these two pictures of Apri were adorable.
The main reason for our visit was to see Jackson be baptized. He was baptized along with his cousin Ellie. We are glad we could be there to support him on his big day.

Doesn't he look handsome in his suit? What a stud!!
