Prego in July!

I am soooo stinkin' pregnant! Each day drags on and feels like eternity! The heat is killing me. I can't believe how hot it is. We have had several heat advisories over the last month. This means we are stuck inside most of the time. You can't go outside unless you are in water. I sweat walking from my car to the store it is ridiculous. It drives me crazy I am not use to this humidity at all! I hardly ever sweat when I lived in Utah, even on the hottest day. Here I sweat sitting, it is annoying! Being 8 1/2 months pregnant doesn't help at all I am sure. I am hot inside with the air conditioner!! I am always freezing Wayne and the kids.
We are on the countdown now, thank goodness. I have 11 days left! I will get induced on July 29th if I don't go on my own before then. I am so glad my mom will be here to help for a few weeks. We are very nervous to have three kids!! So intimidating to be outnumbered.

We can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl!! We both think it is a girl so it will be a shock if it is a boy. Apri has informed us that she is going to be mad if it is not a girl! She said she would still love it if it was a boy but she would also be mad. So that could be interesting! :)

Can't wait to meet the cute little baby!!

Wayne says the baby can't come until he finishes his crazy work week. I say it can come now that I have caught up the blog! :) He he!! We will let you know when the baby arrives!!!

2nd of July?

I never found out why but Murray city celebrated the 4th of July on the 2nd. It was our first time celebrating the 4th here because we were in Utah last year over the 4th. I was pleasantly surprised with the festivities. The best part was several things were free. The bouncy toys were free we got tons of candy at the parade and we also got free water, Popsicles, lemonade, popcorn, and watermelon. The parade was just a normal city parade for the most part. The major difference was tons of the floats were religious. All the different churches had their own float. They had the best candy too!! One church was giving out full size candy bars. Crazy!! I didn't take many pictures. It was just me and the kids, I let Wayne skip this year he hates parades. It was soooooo hot!! It was all I could do to just keep moving let alone take pictures of what we did!

After the parade we went down to the street booths and looked around. It was fun for the kids. They had part of the road covered with sand so the kids played in that for a while.  It wasn't quite the same as Layton I missed having family celebrate with us. It was still a really fun day! Later that evening we went and watched the fireworks. Never, ever in my life have I sweat watching fireworks! Usually I am cold but not this year! It was so stinkin' hot!!

As for the 4th of July DON'T ASK!! It was not a good day! Let's just say Wayne was working on the car and the project took all day instead of a few hours! Such a bummer.....I learned my lesson though! Never Ever Ever do a project like that on a holiday! That is all I will say about the 4th! Thankfully we did get to have some fun on the 2nd sense the 4th didn't work out.

BBQ

We had a few friends over for a BBQ one night. We had a fun time just hanging out visiting. The kids had a blast swimming together! The weather was great! Always good to spend time with great friends!

Ballet Camp

In the summer they have a week Ballet Camp. The theme this year was Cinderella. Apri had a great time with her friends Claire and Rachel!! At the end of the week they did a little performance.

Venture River

Wayne's company has a family party at Venture River(a water park)every year. We missed it last year because we were on vacation. We didn't miss it this year though!! :) I wasn't sure if it would be very kid friendly but it was great for the kids! We had a blast! Both Camden and Apri kept going and going they didn't want to leave. Apri even went on some of the bigger water slides with Wayne. The fun was over when she flipped out of the tube on one of the rides!! She was not very happy!! I want to go back again but don't know if we will make it this year I am way to pregnant now and don't think we will be taking the new baby out in this heat! We will probably have to wait until next year.

The End

Well that brings us to the end of our trip. We had a great time in Vegas but we were ready to go home and see Wayne! We missed him a ton the last half of the trip. I was nervous for the flight home. Traveling with two kids 7 1/2 months pregnant by myself probably wasn't the best idea I have ever had but, it worked out fine! Everything went very smoothly...I think know it was because everyone was praying for me! :) 

It was a Wonderful Vacation!!! :)

Games

Jackson and Harrison got to show us their mad skills! We got to go to one of Jackson's football games and one of Harrison's Basketball games. It is so fun to watch them play. I seriously can't wait until my kids are in sports.

I wish we could have seen Erika play volleyball. Maybe next time! I wish I could watch all my cute nieces and nephews compete in there various activities!!! DANG IT!! Why do we live so far away again??

Tess Marie

After our visit in Layton we headed to Vegas! I was so excited to spend time with my sister and her family. While we were there they decided to bless Tess. She looked so cute and frilly in her blessing dress. So glad we got to be there for the special day. So far I haven't missed a blessing or a baptism for any of my nieces or nephews so I was glad I didn't have to break that tradition yet!

Layton Park

I miss the Layton Park!! I love it!! I love going and feeding the ducks and I love that there is plenty of shade. We took a trip to the park one day and had a good time. Camden especially loved feeding the ducks.

• saw Rio....fun movie night
• lots of shopping always fun
• Apri played dress up constantly with Emily.
• played several hands of Canasta with my mom
• played good old Back Alley.
• got sore playing the Wii....yea that is how out of shape I am!! :(

It was great to just hang out and visit with family! I love them sooooo much!

Sheldon Crew Barlow

While we were in Utah Chelsea had her baby. Sweet little Crew! I was so glad that I got to meet the little guy. I feel bad that I can't be there for her like she was for me when I had Apri. She helped throw me a shower and did so  many kind things. I wish I wasn't so far away so I could have returned the favor! It was great to see their cute little family together. Chelsea and Sheldon will be great parents!

Rose Helen Hatch

On May 20th my sweet Grandma passed away. It was definitely a bitter sweet. She was 87 years old. She was ready to be reunited with my Grandpa who died almost 16 years ago. Most of her life she was in good health but had been hitting a few road bumps over the last few years. My Dad who is her only child, faithfully took care of her every need ever since my grandpa passed away. I was so glad that we were in Utah when she passed. It was such a blessing for many reasons! First we got to see her one last time. Second I got to be there. If she would have passed away after we got home from our trip I would not have been able to come back....one too expensive, two I am way to pregnant. So I was really grateful for the timing. Third I got to see my brother Aaron and his wife Stacy. It had almost been 2 years since we saw each other last so I was glad I got to see him. (I wished Shawn could have made it too! I haven't seen him in 2 years either and don't have a clue when we will get to see him again! Why is England so far away!! :( )Last I was able to help my dad with the funeral arrangements. Although it wasn't the funnest thing to do on vacation I was happy to help. I didn't feel like I did much but I know I was able to lift some of my dads burden so I was really glad!

My Grandma was a special person. Her dedication and love for her family was amazing. She was an awesome cook!! I am so glad she taught me some of her tricks! She had a big sweet tooth and always had lots of sweets to share. She also made many of her sweets she was famous for the chocolates she made at Christmas. She had an excellent memory. I was always amazed at the detail she would include in her stories. Unfortunately I don't have that trait so I can't remember most of the stories she told me! She was also a spitfire! She wasn't very big but she was strong and her will was even stronger!! Some things she always said were "on the thing", "knot-head", and she would probably kill me for saying it but...."oh, damit". She said all of those things with her awesome Australian accent that I loved! She also had a beautiful yard and loved flowers. I love her sooo much and I am so grateful for everything she taught me and my father! Most of all I am so glad that I know I will see her again someday!

Zoo

While we were in Utah we took a trip to the Zoo with my mom. It was the perfect day it rained the day before and the day after so we lucked out on our planning. It wasn't too hot and wasn't too cold. The kids had a great time!

Camden saw this dinosaur in the distance and bolted! I had to chase him down. Apri did everything she could to avoid the dinosaurs and would cling onto my leg. Funny kids!

Apri was so bummed because I told her that we would see some Zebras at the zoo. Well come to find out the poor Zebras died. So now every time we talk about the zoo that is what Apri talks about. . .the dead Zebras.

It was a fun trip to the zoo!!
