7 Years

On Saturday Wayne and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. So CRAZY!! Time sure goes fast. The whole day I was thinking of a line from a song I love by colors. The lyrics say....."eternity won't last that long cuz time will fly when it's you and I together". That is how I feel! Each year just gets better and better and it doesn't feel like 7 years at all. It has been a busy three years I will say that. We have lived in 3 states moved 5 times and had 3 kids. What an adventure I am so glad I get to spend this life and the next with such a great guy who loves me and my kids soooo much!

We spent the day at the beach it was wonderful. It only took us about 45 minutes to get there. We went to Oceanside and just played on the beach for a bit, then walked on the pier. After we had our fun at the beach we went to dinner at Baca's in San Diego. IT WAS SOOOO YUMMY!! It was a great day and we had alot of fun just being together. I am excited to live here it will be fun to do day trips to the beach more often.

We also got to sign the papers on our house on Friday night. We plan to move in the Tuesday after Thanksgiving!! We are so excited to move in and get settled. The next month is going to be really busy. I am not quite sure how I am going to unpack, celebrate a birthday, have 10 guests, and get ready for Christmas! It is going to be a whirlwind! Thank goodness our guests are going to help us unpack!! :)

Life in Cali

Well so far life in California has been pretty busy. After looking at about 30 houses we found our home. It felt like we were never going to make a choice but then we found the one. We should be moving in soon so I wanted to catch up the blog before things got crazy again. We are now living in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Overall it is way better than when we had to live in a hotel. It is hard for the kids because they don't have room to really run and I can't send them outside to play. So we go to the park or the play place at the mall often. We have made a few friends which is nice. Last Sunday we went to our new ward even though it is a 20 minute drive from our apartment. We are anxious to start meeting some more people and making more friends. Hope you enjoyed the updates! I probably won't have much time to blog until next year....crazy! I am sure with the move, Christmas, and the kids the blog will have to take the back seat again! :) Hopefully I am wrong! Bye for now!

3 months old

Tyson is three months old! Time is just flying by!! He is a great baby. He sleeps through the night and just started laughing. I love when babies first start to laugh! It doesn't take much to make him smile but you have to work a little to get him to laugh. He is pretty even tempered most of the time. Sometimes he will get fussy in the evening but other than that he is really mellow. He has mastered rolling over from back to front but sometimes gets stuck on his tummy. He is starting to grab objects and gets really frustrated when he can't quite grab what he wants. His hair is starting to fall out and it is so sad! :(    Hopefully he will have some new hair come in soon. So glad I get to stay home with him and my other kids so I can watch them grow! I am soooo lucky!

We were at the park and Apri totally biffed it and tore her face up! The saddest part is I wasn't very compassionate. She is like the boy who called wolf. She is always crying over every little thing that happens so when she started crying I didn't realize how hurt she really was. So sad!

Halloween in Vegas

It was so great to spend the weekend with the Kelly's. We needed a break from the apartment. The best part is it only took 4 hours to drive there!! It was their first time to meet Tyson and Wayne's first time to meet Tess. Halloween was great. We went trick-or-treating in Kamie's neighborhood (Matt's Sister) and they handed out several full size candy bars. It was awesome. Apri decided that she was done when she got to a home that was decorated really scary. Poor girl! Here are some pictures from our fun weekend!!

It is so great to have some family near by again!! :)

2 years old!

Camden is 2 years old! Can you believe it? I sure can't!! He is growing so fast lately. Each day he talks more clearly and learns new words. He has become very curious. He adores his sister and wants to do everything she does. Camden is a very sweet boy. He is always looking out for his sister and brother and is very protective of them. If I ever cough or get hurt he always asks if I am okay. He is still kind of a mamas boy. Although he isn't as attached as he use to be. He loves to be outside, loves to sing, loves broccoli, chicken nuggets, pizza, grapes and strawberries. He is very active and adventurous. We have to keep a close eye on him he is a climber and a jumper. His is a boy through and through!! He is a joy to have around!

We decided to take a weekend trip to Vegas to celebrate his birthday and Halloween. So we had a very small celebration on his birthday and saved the rest for Samantha's house.

I think he had a great birthday! A special thanks to the Kelly's for letting us come celebrate at their house. It would have been strange to just celebrate without anyone else. I was so glad I got to make him a special cake. That is one of our birthday traditions and all of my decorating/baking stuff is in storage. So thank you thank you!! Love you Camden Wayne! So glad you came to our family 2 years ago! :)

1st Visitors

Well we have only been here for a month and we have already had more visitors here than we did in 2 years while in Kentucky. We are pretty excited about that!! First the Warner's stopped by and we went to dinner. They were here on vacation. We had a nice time catching up with them a bit.

Then Wayne's parents came and stayed for a few days. They still had not met Tyson so they were anxious to come. We didn't do much while they were here just relaxed and did some house hunting, oh and we did get a dinner date in as well.

We did make a trip to the March Air Base Museum that is just a few miles from our Apartment. Camden and Apri had fun looking at all the planes. They had a fun section where the kids could play in some small planes and they loved that.

Camden got to open his b-day gifts from Grandma and Grandpa early. He has loved playing with them.

We had a nice visit and look forward to having lots more visitors come!!
