My Helpers

My helpers are gone!! I had Wayne home to help me for one week and my mom was here for two weeks and now I am on my own. Kind of freaky!! Although I guess it is going okay so far because I have found time to do this post. :) Just wanted to do a little post about my mom and her visit. We mostly just stayed here and she helped me take care of things around the house. She is such a great help. She does everything for me....my laundry, she cooks, cleans, plays with the kids. She is amazing!! We are going to miss her tons!!

One day we did go to Paducah and she was impressed with the river. The kids had fun throwing rocks into the river and Apri found a bunch of small shells.

Here are some pictures I took while my mom was here.

I am so grateful that my mom was able to come and help me. It has made this transition much easier. The next few week will be interesting. I should be okay though because I still have my awesome hubby who is also a great help when he is home. I am so lucky to have a supportive hard working spouse.

Little Sprouts

There is a Nursery here that has activities once a month for little kids. It is called the little sprout club. They talk about plants and then do some sort of garden/plant craft with the kids. We have only been twice so far but it has been really fun. Last time she got to plant a strawberry plant. We check on it often and we have had several small strawberries off of it. It is so cute to see how excited Apri gets when she finds a ripe strawberry to eat.
This time we decorated this mason jar to use as a vase. It turned out really cute.

Here she is with the finished project. She put all the flowers in herself.

Mommy Apri

Apri was born to be a mom. She has so many motherly qualities. I know why she was sent to our family first because she is so good at helping with her younger brothers. If you ever ask her what she wants to do when she grows up she always responds "I am going to be a mommy". Plus she says it with a tone like duh...what else would I do?? I am so lucky to have such a great helper!!

Funny Little "C"

Camden is such a funny little kid. He loves to make you laugh. Here are some pictures of him being silly.
This is the bottom of Tyson's bassinet. He climbs in there and pretends to be sleeping. I guess we don't need bunk beds this will work perfectly!!

Our little football star

It is funny when he runs around with this helmet on because it looks like the weight on his head will make him topple over at any minute.

Pretending to be a shark

Swimming with Apri's goggles. He kept trying to plug his nose it was funny.

Yea....he is dressed up like a princess! That is just what happens when you have a big sister. Wayne is going to FREAK when he sees this picture!

Marble Track

Tyson got a gift for his brother and sister because he was so excited to meet them. This is an idea my sister gave me. It works great because then they have a new toy to play with while you take care of the baby and it makes them feel special too.
He got them a marble track to share. They have had a fun time playing with it and so have Wayne and I. I think we were as excited as the kids. :)

Tyson comes home

After two and a half days in the hospital I was ready to get out of there. Wayne and the kids were ready to have me home too. The kids were so cute with Tyson and still are. We haven't had any problems yet....knock on wood!! They both are very gentle with him and just love him to death. Tyson is a really great baby, and everything is going very smooth so far.  Here are some random pictures of Tyson during his first week home.
My three handsome boys

Right after we came home

My friend Meghen came to visit

Tyson getting ready for his first bath

I think he loves his bath....what do you think?

I can't believe I have three kids!!

I love to watch my babies sleep

Grandma Sharon with Apri and Tyson. SOOOOOOOO glad she is here to help!!

Tounge Clipped

Tyson was tongue tied like Camden when he was born. He was eating great but it was causing a lot of pain for me so we decided to have his tongue clipped as soon as we could. I was amazed at the difference it made right away.  I wish I would have had Camden's tongue clipped when he was first born. Oh well, live and learn I guess. I forgot to take my camera with me to the doctor when we had Tyson's tongue clipped. It was a little crazy getting him to the doctor because he was only 3 days old and it was my first day home from the hospital. We even got there on time...CRAZY!! If you look close at this photo you can see a yellowish spot under his tongue. They just used a laser to fix it, and it only took a few minutes to have it done. The yellow spot was gone within a few days and it never seemed to bother him so I am really glad we got it done.

Kids Being Kids

One day I came into the kitchen to find Apri and Camden chilling on the table. I just thought it was sweet and snapped a quick photo.
Eating one of their favorite things....fruit snacks!!!
So we can handle the heat we go outside and spray the kids off with the hose. They have a fun time running around and going down the slide. I wish I was small enough to go down the slide they make it look like so much fun!!We got some sidewalk paint and they decided that it didn't work very well on the sidewalk so they found a new canvas. :)
Smiley Face!!

"If I could just open this up!!??"

Slipin' and Slidin'
When the Walkers were over one day we got to see a special rock show. :) They were so funny!! They even thanked their fans for coming....how thoughtful!!
Future Rock Stars!!!

Tyson John Larson

Well we officially have three kids now!! I still can't believe it. Tyson John Larson was born on July 23 at 8:24pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 and 1/2 inches long. He is a healthy happy baby and we are so glad to have him here safe and sound.
This is a picture of our family about 1 hour before my water broke. We were at Wayne's work for a family tour day. We had to wear all of this stuff to go on the tour. At the end of the tour my water broke. Wayne was glad because he got out of work for the rest of the day!!

The labor and delivery went really smoothly. My water broke at noon and we got to the hospital around one. I wasn't having very strong contractions so they gave me the pitocin at three. Then I got my epidural at five thirty and he arrived at 8:24pm after 3 pushes. Can't complain about that!! It was the easiest labor I have had.

Our Family all together. This was taken right after the kids met Tyson for the first time.

Brothers

My friend Tracy with Tyson. She was our lifesaver!! She watched Apri and Camden while we were in the hospital. We are so grateful for her and her families help!

Our friend Heidi and the Missionaries(Sister Vincent, and Sister Barnes) meeting Tyson. The sisters wanted to hold him sooooo bad!
We were shocked that we had a little boy! We didn't even have a boy name picked out. It took us awhile to agree on a name so that was kind of weird. With our other kids we always had names ready so it drove me crazy that he didn't have a name for a day and a half. I kept on calling him Camden.

We feel so blessed to have another child! :)
