4th of July

I love the 4th of July! It is one of my favorite holidays. One reason I like it so much is because my family has a lot of traditions on the 4th. So I was really glad we were in Utah on the 4th. The downside was that Wayne was not with us!! :( I felt so bad that he was alone on the holiday. He did go to a BBQ with some friends from the ward so he wasn't all alone. Here is how we celebrated!!

We started with the Layton Parade

After the parade we went and looked at a few booths and played on a few of the toys they had at the park

Then we headed back to my moms for some fun in the sun with the slip in slide!

To finish off the day we watched the Layton fireworks and enjoyed rice-crispy treats. We also had fun throwing red hots at random bystanders. We were all a little goofy by the end of the night! It was a night to remember! :)
