Christmas Day

Christmas was a relaxed day full of playing! The kids big gift this year was a Train table. They were excited about that and enjoy playing with it. Apri asked Santa for an Ariel dress and he got it for her. Camden asked for a lion and he got his wish too. Apri lost her second tooth on Christmas Eve so she put our tooth pillow under the Christmas tree hoping that the tooth fairy and Santa would meet. Funny thing they ran into each other and Santa shared his cookies with the tooth fairy!! :) Apri still is telling everyone that story months later! After we opened all the gifts we spent the rest of the day playing with all the new fun things we got. It was a great Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve at the Larsen's house, along with the Missionaries and the Wentz family. It was a fun night. We ate delicious food and then enjoyed some entertainment from the kids. First they sang us songs while pretending to play the piano. After the music they acted out the nativity. It was adorable and they had a great time doing it.

We put out our cookies for Santa. I never got my traditional PJ picture in front of the tree with the kids :( because Camden was already asleep. Oh, well. Apri had the idea of putting the baby Jesus out as well so that Santa would know all the good things that we had been doing.

Drew's Visit

Sometime in December Uncle Drew came to visit for a few days. He came to go to the Poinsettia Bowl with Wayne. They had a fun time at the game. We loved having Uncle Drew here. The kids had a lot of fun with him. They really enjoyed his I-pad and he was nice enough to share. We didn't do much to entertain him other than the game. He just came with us and did whatever we were doing. He was a great guest and we would have him back anytime! I didn't take any pictures of his visit, :( oh well.

Nativity

When my mom was here we went to a Stake Christmas activity. One thing you could do is take a picture all dressed up. It turned out kind of cute. ;)

Our community had a Christmas party themed the polar express the kids loved it! They got to ride around our neighborhood on a small train.

Apri's Birthday Party

Apri had a small birthday party with a few friends. She wanted a Tinkerbell party this year. The cake turned out cute and she was sooooo excited for me to make it. It has become a fun tradition that my kids look forward to.

We played some party games, opened gifts, then ate cake and ice cream. Some of the games were......pin the wand on Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell salon(they got glitter spray, nails painted, and a Tinkerbell tattoo),  and fairy, fairy, Tinkerbell (duck, duck, goose). The best game was the human pinata. Wayne pretended he was a troll and all the "fairies" had to chase him with their wands. When they touched him he had to freeze. To unfreeze himself he had to throw candy. THE KIDS LOVED IT!!! I will be doing this again for sure! Way cheaper than a real pinata and way more fun! Apri had a great time so it was a success!

Grandma Sharon

We had a fun visit with my mom. She is always very helpful with the kids. I feel like I have had a vacation by the time she goes home. While she was here we went to the beach of course!! We also made some gingerbread houses while she was here. Other than that we just talked and did our normal routine stuff. :) She enjoyed coming to story time and everything with us. It was great!!
