Crafts

I have been busy making some fun things. I made a tie for Tyson, a tooth pillow, and some cute pumpkins for halloween. I love doing crafts! Cashelle is my motivation we are going to try to make something each week so I should have lots of fun new crafts for the holidays!!

1st loose tooth

Apri lost her first tooth! With a little help from daddy. She is still soooo excited about it and loves to tell everyone she talks to. She is so cute! :)

Josh and Bethany

Our great friends Josh and Bethany and their two kiddos Madi and Bennett came to stay with us. We had such a great time with them. Josh was here for work so us girls played all week while the boys worked. I wish I would have taken more pictures of all the fun things we did. We went swimming a few times, took a trip to the beach, played a bunch of games, visited, ate lots of yummy food, went on a dinner date, and spent a day at Disneyland.

We hope that they will come and visit with us again soon! They were the best guests!! Wish they lived closer to us so we could game with them every weekend like the good old days! :)

No Words

No words can explain how this made me feel!! It was everywhere!!! Down the stairs, on the railing, on the toys!!! Camden did this......I thought he was taking a nap!

Oh, well it could be worse we are all still alive! :) This was a first for me so I had to document it! I hope that it will be the last!

School Dance

Apri's school had a back to school dance for a PTA fundraiser. It was a cute little dance!

Swim Lessons

Camden also took swim lessons this summer. Camden has no fear of the water! He loves to be in the water and look under the water with his goggles. It was so hard for me to take him and Tyson to the pool because he would never stay in one place. They wouldn't give kids his age swim lessons where Apri went all they had was mommy and me classes and he didn't need that. So I decided to ask Apri's swim teacher if he would come give Camden some private lessons at our pool. It was wonderful and so convenient. He did such a great job with both my kids and now I have two little fish. It is funny to watch other adults when they see him jump in they get a look of fear like he is going to die, and I am not going to save him. Then the look turns to shock because he can swim. I honestly can't believe he can swim either Apri wouldn't even put her face in the water when she was 2 1/2. :) Funny how each kid is so different!

You still have to keep your eye on him but he can go pretty far and knows how to float so I can relax a little bit! :)

Another year gone

One more year has been added to my life! I am now 28 yrs old! I had a great birthday. We went for a bike ride on our new bikes. I love our new bikes!!! That was my gift! I have wanted bikes for a long time and now that we have them I wish we would have spent the money on them sooner.
Then in the evening we went on a date. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and then we saw the Batman movie. It was a wonderful day. :)

My gift to myself this year was I wanted to do p90x and finish it. I was able to do that I finished a few weeks before my birthday. I lost a ton of inches! I lost 2 pant sizes!! I am so glad that I was able to stick with it and do something for myself! Now I am training for a 10k to keep myself on track! :)

Preschool

Camden gets to go to preschool at my friend Annie's new preschool. I wasn't sure if we would put him into preschool or not but I am glad we did. He needs something to do while Apri is in school. He misses her when she is gone. He goes twice per week and has a great time.

Kindergarten

Apri was soooo excited to start school!! She had been looking forward to school for a long time. She loves to learn and we hope it always stays that way!  She is in a Kindergarten/1st grade combo class, and her teachers name is Mrs. Casillas. She likes her teacher and loves school thus far. I love that is half day, because then I still get to have her the other half of the day! :)

I love that this is her goal.....what a great goal!!

1st Pro Haircut

Apri has had her haircut by her Aunt and by me but I have never paid for a haircut. So I thought I would document her first real haircut. It made me sad too see her long hair on the ground! It makes her seem so grown up!

Back to School Shopping

I was able to take Apri and Camden shopping for some new clothes and shoes for school. The highlight for them was this horse ride! :)

My mom had a tradition with us as kids. She would take each of us shopping individually for our back to school things. It was always a special fun thing so I started this tradition with Apri. Hopefully I will be able to do it through the years. We went on a Friday night and got some shoes and socks then we went to dinner at Applebee's. It was a fun girls night. I love hanging out with my little princess!

Chargers

The Chargers have a Fan Fest where everyone can come and watch them practice and meet the cheerleaders for free. The Larsen's told us about it and we decided to join them. Wayne is always up for anything football!! It wasn't exactly what Wayne thought it would be but we still enjoyed it and had a fun time.

Lake Skinner

There is a really fun splash park at Lake Skinner which is about 20 minutes from our house. We went and played there a few times this summer. The only bad part is I didn't discover it until the end of the summer so we only got to go a few times. :) We will be back there next summer for sure!

1 yr old

Tyson my little baby is not so little anymore!! He is the big 1!!! I can not believe how fast it goes. I feel like he is changing and growing so much faster than his sister and brother did. I just love my little Tyson! He is such a sweet, fast, hungry, tough, handsome boy!

To celebrate his birthday we had a few close friends over for cake and ice cream. It was a fun simple party. He was so funny with his cake! He loves food and is always hungry so he went to town. I made a basketball cake for him because he loves balls.

The final product of a successful 1st Birthday!

Tyson started to walk a few day after his first birthday. He loves all food and has a hard time waiting for you to get it to him! He loves to wrestle with his brother, dance, chase anyone, be outside, play with his brother or sister, throw balls, climb on the table, look at books, watch Little Einsteins. He can say lots of words and can do a few signs. Tyson is my trouble maker!! My other kids never strung toilet paper all over the house, climbed on the table, played in the toilet....... He is such a busy body he is hard to keep up with! He is very good at copying others and catches on quickly to new things. We are so lucky to have Tyson in our family he is a joyful, happy baby and we love him to death!
