Christmas Morning

SANTA CAME!!! :) We just love that jolly St. Nick! He brought us lots of new fun things that we love. Apri got a Doll House, Princess Barbies, and a Little Miss Muffin. Camden got a set of new cars, new balls, and some games. Tyson got a Cute Dog, a Little Einsteins Turtle, and other little baby toys. Santa's elves also put together some new stools for us! Not to mention all the fun things we got from our grandmas and grandpas!! :) We sure are lucky!

It is so fun to watch Apri open her gifts. She got so excited about the Princess Barbies. It was her favorite gift. Camden had fun playing with his new cars. He plays with them every day and sleeps with aqueen and achesco every night. (McQueen and Francesco) Tyson was a typical baby he enjoyed the wrapping paper more than the gifts. :) Go figure!

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went and saw Aurthur Christmas. I really liked it, it was a cute show. After the movie we took the kids to Target and let them shop for each other and for us. Apri had fun doing this. She picked out some cute things. Then we enjoyed the most delicious homemade ribs ever! Wayne couldn't stop talking about how good they were. He was mad when we shared them with our guests the next day. The kids all opened some PJ's and we took our traditional picture of the kids in front of the tree in their new Jammie's! Then to finish off the night we read the Christmas story from the scriptures, and set out some pumpkin roll and milk for Santa.

I was bummed at the start of the day thinking of how lonely we were going to be without family or friends but it ended up being perfect. It is nice to just enjoy each other sometimes!! :)

We got to see one of my long lost cousins!! I say that just because it has been forever since I have seen any of my cousins. I only have 5 cousins and they all live in California. I have not seen them much since I got Married. I am hopping that will change now that they only live 4 hours away. My cousin Karen and her kids Katherine and William came down for a short little visit in December. It was so fun to have them here. We had such a great time just visiting and catching up. Her kids are so sweet. Katherine and Apri played and played and played!! We are looking forward to seeing them again soon.

At about 4 1/2 to 5 months old we started Tyson on solids. He is a pro at it now. He is a good eater. Camden and Apri are good helpers. They were so excited to help me feed him for the first time. I just love my kiddos!

Beach Day

We decided to head to the Beach while my mom was still here. If you don't know, my mom has a dream of becoming a beach bum one day. She loves the beach!!! So we had to take her while she was here. It was a beautiful day but the water was freezing. The highlight of the day was we rented a bike and took the kids for a ride. It was so fun!

I was surprised that the boys sat on his lap! Apri asked for a little miss muffin. Camden and Tyson didn't know what they wanted.I think Santa will still bring them something special! :)

DISNEYLAND!!!

We had such a fun time at Disneyland. Grandma Sharon came with us. It was nice to have the extra help with the kids. Apri FREAKED out when she met Rapunzel it was the cutest thing ever! She loved meeting all of the princesses. Camden loved meeting Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. He kissed Mickey on the nose it was so cute. Tyson did awesome and just enjoyed looking around at everything. It was more crowded than we expected. We went on a Monday but it was still pretty busy. We decided to get season passes so that made the day less stressful because we didn't feel like we needed to do everything in one day.

Apri loved every minute!! She is at the perfect age for Disneyland. She "knows" that all the princesses live there in the Castle. She was just in awe and excited about everything!

At the end of the night we watched the parade and the kids really enjoyed that too. During the Christmas Season in the evening they do a really neat thing. They make it snow at Disneyland with snow machines. Apri thought that that was sooooo cool. Whenever she talks about our trip there she always talks about how it snowed. They also light up the Castle really pretty. It was neat for me to see some of the holiday things that I had never seen before. My mom had a great time watching the kids and their excitement. Even Wayne had a fun time!! (It was his first time to Disneyland too) He is not a huge fan of amusement parks but he loved watching the kids enjoy themselves. He wasn't a fan of A Small World though....he got sick of that song really quick. :)

Apri turned 5!?

How did this happen!! I can not believe how fast time flies. I have a 5 year old! CRAZY! Apri had her fifth birthday while everyone was here visiting. Her birthday was the Sunday after we move into our new house. I thought after only a week we pulled off a pretty good birthday party for her. I even made her the Rapunzel cake she had requested. I think it turned out really nice. We decided to get her something extra special for her birthday. A trip to Disneyland!!! To tell her the news Erika and Samantha helped me put together a scavenger hunt. At the end of the hunt she got a Rapunzel Doll with a note from Rapunzel that explained to Apri that she was going to go to Disneyland.

It was funny we thought she would freak out and scream but she didn't. She was more excited about the doll. She did get excited the next day when we actually went to Disneyland.

We had a nice celebration with everyone! It was special that some family got to be here with us!
