Zoo Day Hooray!!

On Thursday we went to the Zoo with some of Wayne's Family. Apri enjoyed all the animals!! She also was glad that Grandpa and Grandma Larson were there to help carry her around. Or maybe that was me?? Here are some pictures from our fun zoo day!!B is for the Bird show. If you haven't seen the bird show you should go the next time you visit the zoo. I was impressed. The birds fly right over your head! It was very fun and entertaining. Here we are waiting for the show to start.
E is for the Elephants.
G is for the giraffes Apri loved the baby giraffe.Last of all Z is for Zebra.

Wheeler Farm

On Wednesday we went to Wheeler Farm with our friends Amber and Madi. We had a great time and the kids loved the animals. Apri is still talking about the cows and chickens.

Nose in a book!!

Apri loves her books!! When we put her to bed she doesn't want her stuffed animals, blankets, or toys. She begs and pleads for her books. Tonight I went in to check on her and this is how I found her sleeping. Wayne and I cracked up!! She is such a sweetheart, I can't get enough of the cute things she does!!

Courtney's Baby Shower

Wayne's sister Courtney is expecting her first baby at the end of July. This past weekend we headed to Neola again so Apri and I could be there for the baby shower. The shower turned out great, and Courtney received lots of fun gifts.

Look at her cute belly!!
Best wishes and good luck Courtney and Joe!! We can't wait to find out what you will have!! Boy or Girl I am sure it will be adorable.

We got to do a few other fun things while we were there. We shot guns, rode the horses next door, and Apri was fascinated by the fire Papa Val started.

Way to Go Wayne!!!

About a week ago Wayne received the news that he will be promoted to the CTP program at the Kroger Dairy Plant in Layton. The CTP program is a Career Training Program that Kroger uses to train future managers. Wayne had hoped to get into this program when he graduated with his Bachelors degree next spring. The CTP program takes about a year to complete. We are so thrilled that he got in early for two reasons. One they don't usually let you into this program unless you have already completed your Bachelors Degree, so he is so lucky to get in early. Second he will be able to become a manager at about the same time he graduates. So basically this puts him a year ahead of schedule. I am so proud of him for working so hard. If it wasn't for his hard work the regional manager would not have noticed him. The regional manager was the one who pulled all the strings to get Wayne in the program early. We are so grateful for this opportunity, we know that Heavenly Father is watching out for us yet again.

Girls Night Out

This past weekend I was able to escape the daily routine and go out with two of my girlfriends Chelsea and Krista. It was very strange because this was my first time leaving Apri overnight. We had so much fun!! Friday night we went to the Gateway in Salt Lake and ate dinner. Then we went to Park City and stayed in a Best Western overnight. The next day we shopped until we dropped. It was great to spend some time with friends. I felt like a new woman when I got back home. It was nice to get away and rejuvenate myself.
